The club was invited to go to Armageddon and play some games and promote us.

Thanks to Phil Wu from Auckland club for giving our name to them.

It was a challenge to get people to go as it was Easter (and arranging it while planning to be out of the country did not help) but i was able to get 1 game on the friday, 1 on the saturday and I went on the sunday.

Friday:

Daniel and Adam played 40K and the scratchbuilt stompa got a lot of attention.

Saturday:

John has written a report on this at his blog, here is one picture. He played some D&D style games with his son Luke.

Sunday:

Richard and I decided to play Cyberpunk combat zone to show off as we figured that would attract people.

We set up the starter box all painted up on one table and the edgerunners box. and we set up a game. we planned to play 2 or 3 games but it took 2 hours to deploy due to all the conversations, which was fine. the game itself was fun, it was closeish until Richard realised he could have been overly dominant, just as I killed that guy and then i got to use that tactic and took over.

We spoke to old club members and friends and people just interested in gaming. had a great time. I took the kids through on saturday and had a good look on the sunday. Not being into Anime or teen romance novels there was not as much for me, but i got an amazing cinnamon whiskey which i am very happy with.
